Hey, yeh it's a very traditional wedding thing to do. Can't do anything until it sets cus its wet. I guess u can do it after, lol. Usually linked to marriage, brides to it all over their hands and legs. When and if i get married ill get that done too, but not over my feet. Just hands!
I Love doing it, had it done for my cousins wedding.
This one i did myself, u can get henna tubes from indian grocery stores or clothes shops. Don't knw if u have any where u are? Can go to professionals, but best thing wud be to track done some asians shops locally and ask them!

My friend had her hands painted when she got married. Apparently it is an indian tradition that you can't do any housework until the henna has faded. Brilliant. Can you tell me where I can get it done???
